Tyrannosaurus Dead split single with Joanna Gruesome

Brighton scuzz-poppers Tyrannosaurus Dead are excited to announce a split single with Joanna Gruesome and to unveil their brand new, Rory Attwell-produced track 'Post Holiday Dead Song' taken from it.

The south coast five-some's charming new song is set to join Joanna Gruesome's 'Anti Parent Cowboy Killers' (taken from last year's excellent 'Weird Sister' Fortuna Pop album) on a split 7" - set for release through London DIY label Odd Box on 21 July.
The brand new track from the band (Billy Lowe - Guitar & Vocals, Eleanor Rudge - Vocals, Thomas Northam - Bass, Martin Edwards - Guitar, and Rupert Willows - Drums) hears them continue to hone their fuzzy indie pop sound - packed full of excellent guitar hooks and a charming chorus.

The split follows a handful of EPs and singles from an increasingly impressive band with an ever-growing back catalogue of fuzzy, scuzzy, catchy indie pop.

2014 looks set to be a big year for the band with new, big news forthcoming.

In the mean time, enjoy 'Post Holiday Dead Song' and hear the excellent 'Pure // Apart' EP on bandcamp: http://tyrannosaurusdead.bandcamp.com/

Tyrannosaurus Dead / Joanna Gruesome split 7" tracklist:
1. Tyrannosaurus Dead - Post Holiday Dead Song
2. Joanna Gruesome - Anti Parent Cowboy Killers

Released 21 July on limited 7" (300 copies) vinyl through Odd Box Records.

Cosy Catastrophes - Way Last June

Cozy Catastrophes is the solo recording project of Greg Adams. Using guitars, bass, Casios, Moog, glockenspiel and drum machines, inspired by twee pop, Swedish pop, self-help books and Bobby Rydell’s sweaters, Cozy Catastrophes creates music for teen-age record hops, in-town driving, and lonely hours.

The Bloomington, Indiana resident released his debut album, AnInstructive Amusement, in August 2013 on his own Beehive Rebellion Records. The homemade, bedroom-pop recordings of the debut album were clever and slightly cute. The new Cozy Catastrophes EP, Way Last June, is a bit more electric, but the songwriting is still just as clever as the debut album.
There are two available options for this release: digital download and cassette. Digitally, the new EP is available as a “pay-what-you-like” download via the February Records bandcamp page. The physical option can be ordered directly through Cozy Catastrophes
