The Joy Formidable - Nottingham Bodega, 16th March 2010

A great set recorded on the third night of The Joy Formidable's current jaunt around the U.K. The long awaited new album is probably going to be released in June and I for one am marking off the days on my bedpost. This set contains a couple of new songs to point us in the right direction "Popinjay" I'm sure you'll already be familiar with sounds spectacular but of most interest to me is the final track, a new song called "Spectrum" which is quite frankly superb. The only small disappointment is that the current tour avoids York like the plague (to be fair they played Leeds which is only 20 miles down the road but I just feel like moaning).
