The wait is over. Fuck Buttons are back and their new Andrew Wetherall produced album "Tarot Sport" will be released in the UK on 12th October. It will be preceded by the single "Surf Solar" on 14th September after which the Bristol duo will be back on the road. I must confess I haven't seen them live yet and plan to put that to rights on 17th September when the tour kicks off in Leeds. Now all we need is that new Fall record!

5. The Field Mice - Sensitive (Sarah)
Classic 7" single from 1989. I had forgotten how good this sounds
This is a track from possibly the most eagerly awaited debut album of the year. The Big Pink stormed onto the scene earlier in the year with the brilliant "Velvet" single which I'm sure will feature heavily in the end of year lists. They followed that up with another great tune in the shape of "Stop The World", both of which appear on the bands debut album "A Brief History Of Love" which will be released through 4AD on 14th September. I think it's fair to say it lives up to the hype and no-one will be disappointed. Watch this lot fly...

8. Sloth Scamper - (((Bonju))) (MP3)
Sloth Scamper come from Taiwan and beyond that I know nothing.
This track was meant to be in last weeks Fodder but had to be pulled to keep the zip under 100 mb. It's far too good to ignore though. Taken from the New York bands self titled debut album.
10. The Jasmine Minks - Think (Creation)
The fourth week in our Creation Records series and this week it's the turn of The Jasmine Minks. As far as back catalogues go I think Creation have possibly the best first fifty releases of any label ever... well maybe Sarah as well but if you've never heard them they really should be investigated.
New single from the Cardiff band who gave us the wonderful "Let It Slip"EP last year which will be released on 9th August. I managed to catch up with them at York's cutest venue, The Basement in York last month which was great in terms of music but poor in terms of turnout. I really wish more people would check out this venue because as well as having a fine roster of bands coming up it is probably the cutest venue I have ever been in.
13. Zoe Van Goey - Sweethearts In Disguise (Left In The Dark)
Another track from the album "The Cage Was Unlocked All Along"
From the album "The Cage Was Unlocked"
14. The Depreciation Guild - Dream About Me (Kanine)
I've been meaning to include this track for the last three Fodders but in time honoured fashion forgot every time. You can get this on lovely white vinyl and I suggest yo do.
