Hello. I'n Trev. I run the lostmusic blog/ezine. For those not familiar with it - I basically review CDs, Records and MP3s that I like. When I saw Kris asking if anyone wanted to compile a playlist I was instantly tempted. I used to love making mix tapes, then mix CDs - mp3 playlists are the next logical step. Playlist 7 what do you think to this jukebox thing on the left hand side of your screen. I hope you like it cos it took Jake ages to do it and I think it's pretty good but let me know what you think. I know I mentioned it last week but if anyone wants to do their own playlist on this site then please get in touch. The only stipulation is that it must be interesting because I can't see the point in putting out a bunch of songs that you can hear just about anywhere, so I think new and exiting is the way to go.
This weeks playlist is a bit of a corker, even if I do say so myself....and I do. If you have not yet bought the "Departures" album by Spotlight Kid then there is clearly a gaping hole in your life which needs filling and if you need any more persuasion check out the track in this weeks playlist.

1. Ripchord - Lock Up Your Daughters (1965) 7"
2. Lost Penguins - Mr Whippy (Demo)
3. Spotlight Kid - Can't Let Go (This Feeling) (Club AC 30) From the album "Departure". I just can't stop playing this record at the moment. Definitely one of the best things I've heard in ages.
4. Bong Ra - Earache (Ad Noiseam) From the new 12" EP "Sick Sick Sick"
5. Radikal Dub Kolektiv - Bosnia By Bus (Universal Egg) From the album "Bass Matters" out 5th February.

7. Panther - Rely On Scent (Fryk Beat) From the forthcoming album "Secret Lawns" Out 6th March
8. Alkaline Trio - Off My Mind This is the Alkaline Trio side of a 7" which they share with Smoking Popes. Maybe I'll play the other side next time.

12. The Fall - Fit & Working Again (Rough Trade) I simply couldn't resist it. The new album is out next month and as soon as I get a copy you'll be hearing tracks on this site. In the meantime though this is a bit of a classic from the bands "Slates" album.
