The Boo Radleys - Ichabod & I

This was the first record from Liverpool's Boo Radleys. The reason for this post is that people keep asking me on almost a weekly basis if I have a copy of Ichabod & I and I dont think it will do much harm to post the whole thing now since there were only ever 500 copies pressed and as far as I know it has never been re-issued. It's a shame really because this is a brilliant record.
Enjoy.

2. Bodenheim Jr
3. Catweazle
4. Sweet Salad Birth
5. Hip Clown Rag
6. Walking 5th Carnival
7. Kaleidoscope

I enjoyed the Boo Radleys zip. I remember seeing the Boo Radleys supporting the Wedding Present in Birmingham. I don't know exactly when because we used to see the Wedding Present whenever they played the Midlands. I remember the end of the set when the guy (still with hair in those days)knelt down next to his effects peddles and did some amazing stuff at the end of Kaleidoscope. At the timem - that was the only song I knew of theirs. I did have a tape of it off the radio - which was a much longer version to this one on the album with lots of fancy guitaring at the end, I don't know if it was from a single version or a peel session.

I have the Kaleidoscope CdEp and always enjoyed the song.
I’ve always been curious what the rest of Ichabod sounds like even though the band dismisses it!

This is the best surprise on many blogs until ... I don't know when. I am a huge French fan of this band. You deserve an award and I catch this opportunity to wish you a happy new year.

I have a copy of this album. I used to play with Attic Head in Liverpool and lived at 58 Huskisson Street. In 1989 was a DJ at Yesterdays and one of the Boo Radleys followers gave me their tape to play. The place went crazy.
I may be willing to sell the album if someone is desperate for it. cyrildunston@yahoo.co.uk
