I just don't get it. Why do people choose the most ridiculous times to do things. I mean, there's a house just across the way which I can see from here and they've decided to choose this week to have their house re-roofed. It's standing their now, in the middle of freezing february with no roof and it's forcast snow tomorrow which reminds me, I must dig that old sledge out of the shed..... Hold on, why am I telling you all this. I mean it's not as if you're really interested is it. Sorry I'm just bored. I think I'll have to play that new Chalets album again, it never fails to brighten up my day. I don't know about you but whenever it snows I'm always tempted to dig out My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless". It always seems to sound even better in the middle of a blizzard which is what I'm hoping for tomorrow.
This band might be of some interest to you. They celebrate under the moniker "The Meeting Places". Formed in 1991 in Los Angeles they make exactly the sort of music you need to be listening to while your sat in front of the window with a large mug of coffee watching the snow fall and hoping it never stops, or at least lays deep enough to prevent any chance of having to go to work.
The Meeting Places are apparently working on a new album as we speak which should be released later in the year.
The Meeting Places - Freeze Our Stares
The Meeting Places - Now I Know You Could NeverBe The One
The Meeting Places - Wide Awake
